This happen especially in women during and after menopause.

  • For children it should be given 600 mg perday.

Dairy products like milk, yogurt, or cheese, pudding, ice cream, cottage cheese are good source of calcium. Some another food source like fortified orange juice, salmon, sardines, collard greens, arugula, broccoli, almonds, spinach, tofu, dried beans, and lima beans are also rich sources of calcium. Herbs that contain calcium include alfalfa, burdock root, cayenne, chamomile and chickweed etc are also a very good source of calcium.
