Breast-milk is the best food for a baby because (1) it is sterile, (2) it has low fat and high sugar-content and (3) it imparts great immunity to the new-born. Unfortunately, many city-mothers suffer from a deficiency of breast-milk, exposing their children to risks of infection and obesity.

Homeopathic Treatment

Check if most symptoms of any of these remedies match with most of your symptoms:

Agnus 30 : Deficient secretion or suppression of milk with great sadness, the lady thinks and says she will die.

Asafoetida 30 : Breasts full of milk and distended, yet milk does not come out; pulsation in the pit of the stomach and flatulence (gas); milk flows out on pressing the breast; warm applications to the breasts do not help.

Ignatia 30 : Deficient milk from emotional stress in unduly sensitive women; strong aversion to tobacco and coffee; sinking sensation in the stomach relieved by taking a deep - breath; long involuntary sighing.

Lac caninum 30 : Swelling of and erratic pains in the breasts, alternating sides. Deficiency of milk causing despondency.

Notes:

1. Discontinue the medicine as soon as about fifty per cent improvement occurs. Restart the medicine if symptoms worsen again or reappear later.
